1.  Find the group of tables that has the same picture on them as your invitation has.  This is the group you will be working with today.
2.  Get your journals out for the day's writing activity.  Write about what you see in your table's picture.  The first sentence should have a quantity word in it.  Examples of quantity words are a few, many, a lot, some.  Then in the several next sentences, you need to give specific details about what you see in the picture at the table of your market.  You need to use quantity words here also.  Finally, you need to write a conclusion about what you might buy at this market.  If you do not finish, you must finish this and any other unfinished journals as homework.

JOURNAL EXAMPLE:
This woman is selling a lot of fruit at the market of Provence. She many boxes of peaches.  Each box has 2 dozen peaches.  She is also selling several bottles of juice and a few jars of jam.  She is also selling some plums and apricots.  I would like to go to this woman's fruit stall to buy some fruit if I was ever at the market of Provence, France.
